Network Attached Storage (NAS)

Definition

NAS stands for "Network Attached Storage". it is a computer system which consists of one (or more) hard drives, an Ethernet connection and an operating system. These components make up the system as a whole and connect to a network to enable those who are part of the network to have access to and share files from a central location.
