Definition
Desktop as a Service (DaaS) is a cloud service in which back-end virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) is hosted by a cloud service provider, such that users have a "just-log-in" virtual desktop service. The provider normally manages data storage, backup, security and upgrades.
